More than 90 members of the OSU community came together to celebrate the university’s outstanding faculty on Wednesday, May 9. OSU’s newest distinguished professors were honored alongside those faculty who have been appointed to academic societies or have been awarded endowed faculty positions.
Oregon State faculty – and the donors who support their work – play a vital role in shaping the lives of our students.
Faculty educate, mentor, and inspire our students and community. And, donors to The Campaign for OSU have given more than $83 million for faculty support. This includes doubling the number of endowed faculty positions at OSU – ensuring that the university is competitive today, and well into the future, in recruiting and retaining our very best.
