Destination OSU 2009

Thank you for making Destination OSU 2009 a success! More than 200 alumni and friends gathered in the California desert for two picture perfect days March 2 and 3 to celebrate Oregon State University.

Highlights included golf at the Desert Falls Country Club and presentations by OSU faculty on the Evolution of Olympic Sportswear and Wave Energy. Guests also enjoyed an OSU Alumni Association reception on the Starlight Terrace. The heartwarming Awards Banquet on March 3 honored four outstanding OSU volunteers:

• Keith McKennon, recipient of the Lifetime Trustee Award
• Don Moore and Rod Moore, recipients of the Dan Poling Service Award
• Bud Gienger, recipient of the Martin Chaves Lifetime Achievement Award
