OSU's College of Pharmacy has earned a reputation for innovative professional curriculum, cutting-edge drug discovery, and excellent pharmacist education. The college is spurring drug innovation and making important contributions to the global fight against infectious diseases -- while also bolstering the national effort to expand pharmacists' role in meeting current and emerging health care challenges.
Campaign donations will advance the College of Pharmacy's initiatives in drug discovery, infectious diseases, and pharmacy practice to address critical contemporary health care issues for the 21st century.

Highlights
Pharmacy graduates routinely score near the top in national licensing exams. In 2006, 100 percent of students passed the National Board Exam.
OSU pharmacists are a key part of the statewide signature research center: OTRADI, Oregon Translational Research and Drug Discovery Institute, focused on the development of new pharmaceutical treatments.
Through the EMPOWER program, OSU pharmacists help reduce suffering of diabetes patients, and create cost savings, by working for employers' health care claims processors to help educate patients.
