Need-Based Scholarships
Many students with great potential come from modest backgrounds.
The rising cost of an education means that today's students face financial challenges that previous generations never had to face:
- Decreased state funding has caused tuition to rise 46% over a five-year period at all Oregon public universities
- The average OSU student graduates with $23,000 in loan and credit card debt
- Students would have to work 48 hours at a minimum wage job to pay for all the expenses associated with a college education.
Your support for need-based scholarships can give a deserving student the chance to succeed at OSU.
Help build the "Bridge to Success"
Launched in 2008, this special program covers tuition and fees for more than 2,000 Oregon students with the greatest financial need.
