Toomey Faculty Fellowship

In 2010 Thomas W. Toomey of Evergreen, Colo., made a $1 million commitment to OSU, half to create a faculty endowment in the College of Business and half to support the construction of Austin Hall.

An OSU Foundation Honorary Trustee and 1982 OSU graduate, Toomey is the president and chief executive officer of UDR, Inc., an S&P 400 company that owns and manages more than 53,000 apartment homes in targeted markets in the United States. Toomey made a previous $1 million gift to establish an endowed professorship and expand an endowed scholarship in honor of his former accounting professor, Mary Ellen Phillips.
