Remembering Martin N. Kelley, 1928-2008
Oregon State University lost a cherished friend June 18 with the death of Martin Kelley, '50.
Kelley, the retired president of Kiewit Engineering, was a tireless OSU volunteer, serving many years on the College of Engineering Advisory Board, the Construction Education Foundation Board, and the OSU Foundation Board of Trustees. He will always be remembered at Oregon State for making possible the construction of Kelley Engineering Center, a facility which launched the college's drive to become one of the best engineering programs in the nation.
In March 2008, Kelley received the Lifetime Trustee Award, the OSU Foundation's highest honor. The following video about his life and impact was shared at the awards ceremony.
