CORVALLIS, Ore. — Three development officers have joined the staff of the Oregon State University Foundation.
Scott Elmshaeuser is the new executive director of the Oregon 4-H Foundation and director of development. For the past nine years he served as the OSU Alumni Association's assistant director for alumni programs. He holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a master's in educational administration, both from the University of Nebraska.
Michele Erickson has become the director of development for OSU's Linus Pauling Institute. She previously was the donor relations and major gifts officer for Lane Community College in Eugene, helping to raise more than $18 million toward their comprehensive campaign. She graduated from OSU with a bachelor's degree in business administration/management.
Mike Moran is based in OSU's Portland Center as an assistant director of development for the College of Engineering. He has been involved in development work for the past eight years, most recently as the major gift program director at Catlin Gabel School in Portland. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind., majoring in English and psychology.
These new staff members will help advance The Campaign for OSU, the university's first comprehensive fundraising campaign. Guided by OSU’s strategic plan, the campaign seeks $625 million to provide opportunities for students, strengthen the Oregon economy, and conduct research that changes the world. With a full year remaining in the campaign’s seven-year timeframe, more than $585 million has been committed toward the goal.
