OSU: A Campus Transformed Through Philanthropy

2008 • Microproducts Breakthrough
Institute (MBI) Research Facility:
Hewlett-Packard donated the long-term use of
Building 11 on its Corvallis campus for MBI, a
research partnership between OSU and the Pacific
Northwest National Laboratory.
2009 • John D. Gray Hall:
Located at the 4-H Conference and Education Center near Salem, this
hall significantly expanded the center’s capacity
by providing space for large groups to hold
educational and recreational activities year-round.
2011 • OSU Boathouse:
This facility, located on
the banks of the Willamette River, includes locker
rooms for both the men’s and women’s rowing
teams, as well as meeting space and boat storage.
2011 • OSU-Cascades Graduate &
OSU-Cascades’ first building
purchase, this center is supporting the campus’
rapid expansion into a four-year university.
