Gifts that benefit all students

“After retiring from Microsoft, I realized I’d been extremely lucky, and it was time to give back. I started volunteering, and with a school-age daughter, I became very interested in education. Before I joined the OSU Foundation Board of Trustees, I hadn’t been back to campus since graduation. But I am really impressed by how innovative OSU has become.

As donors, my husband and I were drawn to academic support services, which I feel are essential to help students achieve. I know that many alumni donate to their individual colleges — and that’s wonderful — but it’s also important to support central programs like academic services, the library, and scholarships. It’s a very efficient donation. You can give so many students so much benefit by giving to a central program.

The campaign is bringing so many people together to work toward common goals. It’s a great time to get involved.”
