Harnessing the power of ocean waves can create a clean, sustainable energy source and help the economies of struggling Oregon coastal communities.

OSU is on the cutting-edge of this exciting new technology. Electrical engineering researchers Annette von Jouanne and Alan Wallace are working with the town of Reedsport, as well as state and government agencies, to create the opportunity for the nation’s first commercial wave park.
